The study is based almost entirely on original source material: reports, memoirs, decrees, statements and other documents which appeared in Soviet publications. Cuuricula, textbooks and school catalogues were also examined and articles by Soviet writers about the Yiddish schools were critically evaluated.Bilingual, Multilingual, and Multicultural EducationCultural HistoryEducational Assessment, Evaluation, and ResearchEuropean HistoryHistory of ReligionInternational and Comparative EducationLanguage and Literacy EducationSlavic Languages and SocietiesYiddish Language and LiteratureThe Yiddish School in the Soviet Union: 1918-1948Dissertation/Thesis
