I argue that that an organization’s true competitive advantage is the quality of work life of its employees. To substantiate this view, I employ a cross-disciplinary framework to explore the psychodynamic relationship between employee and the organization. I also recommend additional studies on the interplay of work, play, and learning in the organizational context.Dissertation/Thesis
