I discuss quantitative characteristics of Apurímac Quechua ejectives as determined in an acoustic study and evaluate the suitability of Lindau (1984) and Kingston (1985)’s typology for categorizing ejectives in light of the Apurímac Quechua data, considered holistically along with data on ejectives from other languages.Working Paper
