The goal of this exploratory analysis is to determine whether there are any observable differences between the Tell Jouweif (SS 8) assemblage and those of nearby Early Bronze Age Tell es-Sweyhat or the other roughly contemporary sites farther downstream (Selenkahiye [T 507, EBA] and Tell Hadidi [T 548, MBA]).
