Private organizations, like SpaceX, too have expressed a goal to visit or, in some cases, even establish settlements on Mars. Yet the prospect of establishing settlements, that is, colonizing - as opposed to simply exploring - raises a number of issues. The focus of this study is on the emergence of institutions and organizations on an extraterrestrial planet like Mars. Specifically, the thesis will explore the conscious design of organizations and institutions of collective action, from the Constitutional Political Economy perspective.MarsColonizationSpaceXNASAConstitutional Political EconomyReciprocityColonial AmericaBehavioral SpilloversCultural BehaviorMartian ColonyBehavioral EconomicsComparative PhilosophyEthics and Political PhilosophyIndigenous, Indian, and Aboriginal LawLaw and PhilosophyLaw and PoliticsLaw and SocietyOther Political ScienceOther Public Affairs, Public Policy and Public AdministrationPlace and EnvironmentPolicy Design, Analysis, and EvaluationPolicy History, Theory, and MethodsPolitical EconomyPolitical HistoryPolitical TheoryPolitics and Social ChangeTheory and PhilosophyThe Sun and the Solar SystemUnited States HistoryA Constitutional Political Economy Perspective On The Colonization Of MarsArticle
