Position

Founding Father of the United States, First President of the University of Pennsylvania, U.S. Ambassador to France

Introduction

I'm an American polymath with a passion for science, politics, and education. As a Founding Father, I had the honor of helping draft the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. My scientific journey, especially my experiments with electricity, earned me international acclaim. I founded the University of Pennsylvania and proudly served as its first president. My wit and wisdom found a home in “Poor Richard’s Almanack,” and my diplomatic efforts were pivotal in securing French support during the American Revolution.
